The famous Mennen Cup is competed for on an annual basis at the end of the regular League season. The top four teams in the Mennen division are seeded 1 to 4, the top seed hosting the fourth seed and the second seed hosting the third.

The MCSSIHL promotes the interests of ice hockey on the secondary school level to the point that this activity shall be an integral part of the overall educational program. Vital to the league's mission are the ideals of good sportsmanship, quality ice hockey, and sound ethics in the cultivation of character.
The MCSSIHL is organized into four divisions; Mennen, Halvorsen, Haas and Charette, with divisional play culminating in an annual Cup Tournaments at the conclusion of the regular season. All player eligibility and rules of play are conducted according to New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association approved regulations.
MCSSIHL games are played at Mennen Arena in Morristown, New Jersey and Skylands Arena in Stockholm, New Jersey.
