The Spike Billings award is given annually to the team in the MCSSIHL who compiles the LOWEST Number of Penalty Minutes during Divisional play, The teams who are awarded this honor receive a plaque from the MCSSIHL at the end of the season. A banner is on display inside Mennen Rink 1. Below is a listing of all award winning teams since its inception in 1998.
The MCSSIHL promotes the interests of ice hockey on the secondary school level to the point that this activity shall be an integral part of the overall educational program. Vital to the league's mission are the ideals of good sportsmanship, quality ice hockey, and sound ethics in the cultivation of character.
The MCSSIHL is organized into four divisions; Mennen, Halvorsen, Haas and Charette, with divisional play culminating in an annual Cup Tournaments at the conclusion of the regular season. All player eligibility and rules of play are conducted according to New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association approved regulations.
MCSSIHL games are played at Mennen Arena in Morristown, New Jersey and Skylands Arena in Stockholm, New Jersey.
